We are saddened to announce the passing of Yonnie (Jannetje) Marshall (nee Dekker) on February 3, 2026 in her 96 year. Predeceased by her Husband of 58 years Douglas Marshall.

She was one of nine daughters to John and Janet (Jannetje) Dekker.She will be missed by her Children Patsy (Duncan), Gary (Sandi) and Brenda (Keith) her 6 grandchildren Darlene (Gary) Debbie, Denise (Len), Hailey, Austin and Dalton and her 11 great grandchildren who all remember her fondly as Granny.She is survived by sisters Rica, Hitson and Betty. She is predeceased by her sisters Carrie, Mary, Alice, Dora, and Margaret.Some of you may remember her as the crossing guard at Mountain Gardens School from approx 1967 to 2000 and one of the great apple pie bakers.A huge thank you to all the Ontario Health and Home PSWs, caseworkers, and the Carpenter House for all their care and support.Mom (Granny) you will be missed but lovingly kept in our hearts and memories xoxo.

A private service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Carpenter House would be appreciated.
