William Stirling

William (Bill) Stirling Jr. June 22, 1956 - June 30, 2021 It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our hero, Bill Stirling, on June 30th 2021. Bill’s memory will be forever remembered by his wife, Wendy and children Callie (Riley), Miranda (Fil), William, Rob Stirling (children Madison (Ian), Connor & Quentin). Bill was predeceased by his daughter Gillianne, parents William Sr. and Anne Stirling, and his brothers Glen and Bob (2018). He will be lovingly missed by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Nancy and Peter Gamble, his brother Drew (Deanna), sister Janne (Lou), and sister-in-law Mary as well as many nieces, nephews, their partners and children. Over the years Bill developed remarkable friendships and relationships with everyone he met. Bill was known to work hard and play even harder; from his early days in sales at Stirling Print-All alongside his late brother Bob, his long standing membership with the Dofasco Angling Club, and early morning starts with his buddies at Curbex. Every day, he brought a smile and a positive attitude to those around him. He loved to finish the day surrounded by his family with a beer. His happiest moments consisted of discovering Southern Ontario through his love of the outdoors, catching up with his kids, hearing the roaring of warplanes, and exploring the history channel with his wife. He has left us with many memories of his unconditional love for his family and friends. Bill’s love for music, his quick wit, passion for adventure, and spontaneity are all parts of a man that will be missed dearly. We are reminded of his presence through the world around us in the form of singing cardinals, booming thunderstorms, and look forward to seeing him again. The details of his celebration of life are to be determined at a later date.
