GELLING, William Peter Passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, at the age of 80. Born July 21, 1945, Peter was a lifelong resident of Hamilton. Beloved husband of Fran. Dad to Michelle Fraser (Dave), Sean Gelling (Judy), and Jayme Gelling. Proud grandfather of Alexandra (Jacob), Jackson, Aidan, Madelyn, and Jack. Great-grandfather to Wyndham and Palmer. Peter was a dedicated member of the A &SH of C; (retired Major), Regimental Retirees Assoc., Assoc. Sportsman's Club where he formed many lasting friendships. Special thanks to the amazing doctors and nurses who cared for Peter at St. Peter's Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter's Hospital Palliative Care 3W would be appreciated by the family. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 18th from 1 p.m. until 4pm at the Hamilton Police Association 555 Upper Wellington St, Hamilton, ON L9A 3P8.
