William Cannon

William (Bill) passed away peacefully after a long struggle with heart, lung and chronic pain issues. Bill had an interesting life working many years as a jeweller and gemologist at H. William Jewellers & Pawn Brokers and then later in life went back to school where he became a mental health nurse working in the emergency department at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina and then in Hamilton for Hamilton Health Sciences in the acquired brain injury department.

Bill loved hunting and fishing, billiards and was excellent at Wing Chung Kung Fu. His greatest achievement in life was our son Liam whom he adored as well as his step-sons Mitchell and Brandon. He is predeceased by his mother Lucy (nee Fowler), father George, brother Shawn, sisters Nancy and Josephine. He is survived by his sisters Judee and Kelly, his son Liam, long time friend Natalie Lambert and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has already taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
