William (Bill) Thomas Worne

August 7, 1942-January 7, 2024

Bill passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Peter’s Hospital. He was 81

years old. Loving husband to the late Peggy Worne, devoted father to Deana (Ken

Laing) and Marie (Wayne MacEachern) and proud grandpa to Grace and Colin. Bill will

be dearly missed by his sisters, brother-in-law, and many close friends. Bill retired from

Dofasco as a Rigger and Crane Operator. Bill enjoyed maintaining his property, lending

a helping hand whenever needed, watching Grace figure skate and Colin play football,

and dancing at the local Royal Canadian Legions. The family would like to thank all the

dedicated staff at St. Peter’s Hospital, 3East, for their compassionate care. Keeping

with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no funeral or memorial service will be

held. If interested in donating in Bill’s memory, a donation to a charity of your choice

would be appreciated. Bill will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
