Wendy Norma Meikle

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Wendy Meikle (nee Rowcliffe) on February 11, 2025 in her 73rd year.

Beloved and cherished wife of Doug Meikle, adoring mother who will be forever missed by her sons Steve Duncan (Suzy), Jeff Duncan (Ashley) Step Daughters Lyndsey Taylor (Simon), Kerry Lorence (Chris). Wendy was the proudest Nana to Owen, Nolan, Madison and Cody Duncan and Mason and Logan Taylor. Wendy is predeceased by her parents Edward and Norma Rowcliffe and her brother Tom Rowcliffe. Wendy is survived by her sisters Diane, Donna, Mary, Judy and her brother Wayne (Wendy). Wendy will be missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and countless friends.

Wendy had a zest for life- she enjoyed traveling, golfing and loved sitting outside with loved ones over a glass of wine. Wendy was an avid gardener and created the most beautiful back yard retreats. She loved her family so much and took extraordinary care of her mother. Wendy’s absence will forever change our family but she will live on in our hearts forever.

Wendy lived her life with strength and resiliency right to the end, she leaves behind a legacy of grace and vitality.

Wendy was a truly remarkable woman who was loved deeply and will be missed dearly, every day.
