Wendy passed away surrounded by her family on February 28th 2024 at the age of 67, after unexpected health complications. She was a devoted wife mother and grandmother. A woman who adored her gardens, travelling, beautiful sunsets and country music.

She leaves behind her beloved husband Jack Filipuzzi, and cherished children

Corey Hayhoe (Vicky Martin) Jodi MacDonald (Tony Sursen), her loving step children, Tomas Filipuzzi (Heather Filipuzzi), Cristin Filipuzzi and Conor Filipuzzi. As well as her several grandchildren, Elysia, Jonas, Isla, Pearce, and Meara.

She is reunited with both her parents Ronald (2014) and Eleanor (2018) Gettinby, beloved brothers Wayne Gettinby(2003) and David Gettinby (2024)

She leaves behind memories that will be cherished for a life time. Her smile will be remembered by all who knew her. We hope she is watching the sunsets, dancing in the rain and drinking pina coladas.
