It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Wayne “Perm” Miranda on September 13, 2026.

Wayne will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Barb Miranda; his loving sons, Paul, Chris, and Matt and their spouses; his grandchildren; and his brother Gord, who passed before him. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Bonnie and Darlene, as well as his in-laws, friends, and extended family.

Wayne was a dedicated supervisor at Russell Metals (McCabe Steel), where he made many lasting friendships throughout the years. He was a hardworking man who took great pride in what he did and in the people he met along the way.

Known affectionately as “Perm,” Wayne had a wonderful sense of humour and a passion for fishing, collecting records, and Hot Wheels. He found joy in the things he loved and was always happy to share those passions with others.

Wayne was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone who needed him. He put God and family first and lived his life with a generous heart, always willing to lend a helping hand.

He leaves behind a lifetime of memories and will be forever loved and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rest peacefully, Wayne. You will never be forgotten.
