Warren David Hayman

January 15, 1935 — September 11, 2023

With great sadness we wish to announce...

Warren passed away peacefully on Sept 11, 2023 after much loving care from the nurses and staff at St. Peter’s Hospital.

With much grace and a sense of humour he lived to 88 years old. He met his goal to Celebrate his 70th Wedding Anniversary with his loving wife Lorna.

Warren enjoyed much time with his family after retirement and helped his kids and other family members in so many ways throughout their lives. Too many to recount!

He enjoyed many happy retirement years in sunny Florida and liked to report the weather temp to those of us left in the snow banks of Canada. A small indicator of his sense humour and ever present twinkle in his eyes.

Golf was his passion, But luck was the result of several holes in one shots (although he would tell you it was pure skill)

After all he was perfect as he would often admit.

It didn't help that he won a beauty contest when he was a baby! That was how this all started!

Oh it’s hard to be humble when you are perfect in every way🎶. Warrens favorite song by Mac Davis. https://youtu.be/FySdfQvy5cM?si=CeUeHTagfh27o9FM

Warren had many talents. A fierce negotiator especially when it came to buying cars. He used these same skills while working at Royal Insurance for over 30 years, one position being VP of Sales.

He loved to paint and sold several paintings and did some special ones for the family and friends. He loved people and enjoyed talking and watching the game with them in his garage/man cave..

Although Warren will be sadly missed, we are encouraged by the Bible’s hope given for those resting in the grave. The promised resurrection means that death is not the end of our story, but is only a comma (a Pause) with a happy reunion waiting for us all.

Revelation 21:3,4

We look forward to seeing him again healthy, happy and full of mischief!

Keeping with Warrens wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
