Walter Price

WALTER (WALLY) WALLACE PRICE

March 15th, 1942- May 23rd, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wally Price on May

23,2023 at St.Joseph’s hospital.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, and best friend, Sharen Price, of 61

beautiful years.

His children, departed Stephanie Johnson, Vincent & Samantha Price, Bradley

& Stefanie Price and Jenny & George Smith.

As well as many grand & great grandchildren.

Wally was a smart,kind, resourceful and well respected man, who treated

every one equally,but, he would “whoop your butt over your shoulders” if

you needed it. He loved to be surrounded by family and friends, you would

know his presence because he was always the loudest in the room. He had

many friends and great times spent at the Gage Tavern, Hamilton.

He was always known for his humours ways, wearing his favourite hats and

t-shirts with jokes on them.

Wally was a man that you could describe as the typical “good neighbour”. He

always had that tool you could borrow, some good ol’ school advice, always

lending a helping hand, and hey! He even had a recipe in the kitchen if you

needed it.

Wally was a hard worker and dedicated 30+ good years to the van lines. In

retirement he spent his days driving his wonderful wife to the dollar

store, doing crosswords puzzles, playing his computer games, and sneaking

those chocolates.

He will forever be remembered as the head of our family, leaving us all

with unique and special memories.

If you would like to join us in his celebration of life, it will be hosted

on Saturday, June 17th 2023, 12:00pm-5:00pm at the RHLI veterans club
