It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Vince on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the age of 67.

Beloved husband to Gail, loving father to Trevor (Sam), Emily (Cody), and cherished grandpa to Colton. Survived by his sisters Margaret, Elena (Brad), and Liz. Predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Anna. Vince will be missed by his niece, nephews, and many friends. 

Vince was a dedicated Hamilton Firefighter for 29 years, spending the last years of his career as Captain. Vince had many hobbies including fishing, hunting, and a multitude of different sports, which he enjoyed with his family and friends. 

Vince was kind, wise and always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a bright smile and patiently provided encouragement to all. Vince was his children’s biggest fan and supporter. Over the last year, he took the most pride in spending time with his grandson. 

As per Vince’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Vince’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. at The Waterfront Event & Conference Centre, 555 Bay Street North, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Tire Jumpstart or to a charity of your choice.
