Victoria "Vickie" Ellena Sears

Victoria (Vickie) Ellena Sears (née Almonitis), born September 19, 1934, in Spirit River, Alberta, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. Vickie was the beloved wife of James (Jim) Sears for 63 wonderful years, and a loving mother to Victor (Suzette), Lara, and Sean. She was a cherished grandmother to Hayley (Nick), Chelsea (Shane), Jimmy, Jennifer, and Veronica, and a proud great- grandmother to Graylin, Isla, and Sutton. Vickie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her warmth, kindness, strength, and the deep love she had for her family. She touched the lives of so many and leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten.

A church service in her memory will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Parish, Hamilton. Reception details to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to The Good Shepherd or to your local food bank.

The family is eternally grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from near and far.
