GRANT, Thomas Henry (Tom)Peacefully and after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer, Tom said goodbye to his loving wife Brenda, caring son Jeff (Diane), precious granddaughters Charlotte and Violet, best friend Dean (Penny), niece Patti (Tim), great niece Brianne (Jill) and great nephew Brian (Emily) on June 29th, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Many thanks to the tremendously caring staff on the Palliative Care units (3East & 3West), especially Traci Leighton (M.S.W), and nurses Kristina, Cindy, Dan and Aruna. A special thanks to Dr. Alan Taniguchi and the late Dr. Bev Hattersley for their strength, wisdom and compassion. A private cremation has taken place. Online donations through the HHS Foundation to St. Peter’s Palliative Unit in Tom’s memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
