Peacefully at home on Tuesday April 26, 2022 Thomas joined his wife, Denise and his son Jason among the stars. Surrounded by his loving daughter Mandi, son in law, Ron and his best buddy Cooper by his side. Tom was supported at home for the past 4 years by his loving family and grandchildren Lucy and Sammy, who already miss their Grandpa so much! In his final days, Tom shared that he had a good life and loved all his family and friends so very much. For all who knew him they knew that he had a passion for vehicles, woodworking, collecting knives (LOL), and rifles. In his younger days, he participated in MANY drag races, and was an award winning archer. Through all his interests, his main focus was always his family and friends. Always eager to help out a friend, engage in a lengthy conversation (LOL) or exchange humorous banter with those he loved. Tom worked for ArcelorMittal (Dofasco) for 37 years as a Crane Operator and through this made many lifelong friends. Always humble, yet proud; many have referred to him as a true gentleman. He will be incredibly missed by so many. Forever a Daddy's Little Girl, his daughter Mandi hopes he is free, happy and driving his dream car with CCR blasting on the other side. (you deserve that, Dad) Please come join the family on Sunday May 15th, 2022 from 1- 4pm @ Just John's Pub - 2005 Main St. N, Jarvis ON, N0A 1J0 "Come have a drink for Tom & his son Jason" (who would be 50 on Saturday April 30th) Special Thank you to Steadman's Community Hospice Outreach Team, CBI Nursing, Denise Zuwala, Robyn Slater, Christine Best, Danny & Dianne Horvath and all our family, friends and neighbours for all the flowers, food, cards, calls, texts and overall support. We appreciate all so much! Rest now, Dad... we love and miss you much!"
