Thelma Margaret Mobbs (Wilson)
It is with much sadness we share the passing of Thelma Margaret Mobbs on September 30th, 2025, at the age of 94. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Susan Elaine Craft (Vinson), of Ocala, Florida, Linda Jean Lemke (Skeeter) of Rancho Santa Margarita, California, and grandchildren, Heather Weeks, Brandon Lemke (deceased) and Taren Lemke- Lavery (Tim). Her great grandchildren are Kylie Colman and Christian Weeks and is survived by many nephews and nieces.
In 1964, as a young family they moved to Ocala Florida, where her husband , Gordon Arnold Mobbs, (divorced and deceased) started a local printing business. For many years she worked as a typesetter for the business and she became involved with her local theatre group where she spent many years behind the scenes in the Ocala Civic Theatre in Ocala Florida.
When most people retire to the south, Thelma did just the opposite. She moved back to Hamilton to live out her years with family and friends.
She always loved her crossword puzzles and when her daughter would visit, she always challenged her to a game of Scrabble. (Which she would almost always win)!!
We would like to thank all those who cared for her at St. Joseph’s Villa / Valley Trail in Dundas, and their tireless work and friendship they gave to her. We can’t thank you enough, and will always be grateful to you.
