Sylvia Mae Hazelwood

Passed away peacefully on July 17,2024 at St.Joesph's Hospital in Hamilton at the age 80.She will be lovingly remembered by her two children Linda Atkinson and Gordon Hazelwood and also by her sisters Betty, Heather, Joyce, Renee, Sherry and brother Mark. along with her Grandchildren Jimeca, Arthur, Gordon Jr, Justin and Kathleen and nieces Sarah and Laura who held a special place in her heart.

Sylvia will always be remembered for her love of owls and the crafts she made for her PSWs and friends along with the happiness, joy and love she generously gave to all.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the amazing ICU and CCU staff at St.Joesph's Hospital who took exceptional care of mom in her final moments of life. And also to the Baywood LTC beautiful caring PSW's ,Nurses and Dr.Brunner where mom resided for the last six years.

Owls fly High in Heavens beautiful night skies

spreading their wide wings throughout the night

Now by their side Sylvia soars with a sweet song

knowing her soul is home where she truly belongs
