It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Vallee (nee Blackbourn) on February 20th, at the age of 77. A cherished mother to Scott (Hillary) and Chris Williams (Tanya & Cierra) and loving grandmother to Ryerson. Sue was predeceased by her husband, Gene Vallee, her sisters Shirley Lee and Lois Griffiths, and nephews Darrell, Dennis and Stevie (Tammy). Sue lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered for her warm heart, sassy humour, love of her dogs, joy of travelling with Karen and opening her home to Dave and the boys. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel loved and valued. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Denise (Terry), Vickie (Jeff), Dan, Debbie (Owen), Dale (Mike), Donna (Jamie, deceased), Henry (Pat), Margaret (Norm, deceased), Bonnie, and her great nieces and nephews and their families. She will also be greatly missed by her friends Gwen, Nancy and Carol. Sue was a retired employee of the Hamilton Cancer Society and Food Basics. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
