Susan Heather Campea (nee Mckenzie)

It is with profound sadness that the family of Susan Campea announce her passing on January 31, 2025 at the age of 72.

Born in Bear River, Nova Scotia to Ronald and Helen Mckenzie, Susan was the sweetheart of her husband, Pasquale Campea and the loving mother to John Campea (Ann), Heather Campea (Amy), Sandra Perks (Daniel) and Rob Campea (Tina). She was the beloved grandmother to Alyssa, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Adam, Aidan, Ethan,Robbie, Carter and Lilly, all of whom she spoiled rotten. She is survived by her siblings Kathy and Richard and her caring in-laws Sue (Roger) Maria, Leonora(Paul), Pina (Doug) and Paul (Linnea). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, sister Annette, brother Ronald, brother in laws Paul, Stan and Jim, sister in law Mary, nephew Christopher and niece Keary, all of whom are waiting to hug her again, and ask for her handmade cheeseburgers.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the multitude of caring professionals at HHS hospitals and the many people who supported us during her long battle. There will be a celebration of life for family and friends to be arranged.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
