Susan Elizabeth Conley

Jan 9.1953 to Dec 29, 2020. It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Elizabeth Conley of Cayuga Ontario. Sue fought hard to beat cancer but the cancer was relentless and sadly stole her away from us. Sue is survived by her husband Mark and her daughter Kathy King (Rob). Sue was predeceased by her parents Vern and Illa Crawford as well as her brother Buster Crawford and brother in law Jim. She will be greatly missed by her brothers George(Marlene), Bob (Dorothy), John (Debbie), Danny(Vonnita) and Ray (Cindy), her sister Sally, her sister in law Karen, and her granddaughter Elisha(Matt). She will also be missed by her many other relatives and friends. . Sue lived a wonderful life that included travelling from coast to coast in Canada, visiting many states, relaxing on countless Caribbean Islands and enjoying the sights of Europe on a Mediterranean cruise. She was equally happy simply going camping, especially on her brother Johns property. Multi talented, Sue was as comfortable preparing lavish meals or doing arts and crafts as she was refinishing furniture or putting up drywall or a deck railing. The one thing that was always consistent is that she would work at every task until it was perfect. A favorite passion that always gave Sue pleasure was decorating for Christmas. It usually took the entire month of November but when she was done every room was decorated and themed and the house radiated Christmas Joy. Sue will also be greatly missed by her beloved dog Tessa. The pain has finally ended. Rest in peace. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers Sue would appreciate a donation be made to either Stedman Hospice in Brantford or to the SPCA
