Shirley Anne Thring

With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love touched everyone around her.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Clifford Thring; her sons, Dion Thring and Darrin Thring (Kathy Thring); her cherished grandchildren, Kate-Lynn, Tyler, Taylor, and Sutherlin; and her precious great-grandchildren, Kenadee and Janelle.

Though she was born in the Canada, her family roots were proudly Dutch, and she held her Holland heritage close to her heart. Through tulips and windmills, she was always reminded of her family’s history. Also a huge NASCAR fan, especially of Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr., her family takes comfort knowing she is now reunited with Dale Earnhardt Sr., cheering on from above.

One of her greatest joys was baking with her grandchildren, filling her home with warmth, laughter, and memories that will be treasured forever.

She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends, but her love and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
