Sheena Marie Bezemer

February 8, 1985- May 19, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Sheena Marie Bezemer announce her unexpected death at the age of 40. She will be lovely remembered by her parents, Lois and Enrico Galgani, and her brother Sean Fredrick Bezemer.

Sheena grew up on Hamilton Mountain. Later her career, 16 years working in law, took her to Toronto. She also worked In North Carolina and traveled across the USA and Canada teaching and organizing conference before returning home to Hamilton.

We are grateful to the Hamilton Paramedics and the staff at the Juravinski Hospital for giving us the little time we had with her so we were able to at her bedside when she left this world way to early. We would also like to say thank you to Dr. AlHaidari for his care and his support as her family doctor who she trusted second only to Mom.

She will be remembered for her kindness, fairness, intelligence and personal strength. She loved sunny days, animals and white roses.

She will be missed by her extended family, her created family and her friends all of which who had the pleasure of watching her grow to become the woman she was.

Cremation has taken place with an announcement of a Celebration of life to follow at a later date.
