Sharron Agnes Fletcher

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of Sharron Agnes (Meek) Fletcher wife of Richard James Fletcher of 57 years. Mother to Terra (Mark) Nicolle, Kim Balog (Predeceased by her husband James Balog), Richard (Jodi) Fletcher, Lisa (Steve) Zahorodni, and 9 Grandchildren Jacob (Helen) Nicolle, Vanessa ( Levi) Ould, Katie ( Daniel) Ziedins, Courtney ( Evan) Fraser, Allison ( Josh) Eastham, Curtis Zahorodni, Justin Fletcher ( Kendra Desjarlaiis), Bailey Fletcher, Megan Fletcher, also 10 Great Grandchildren & 2 more on the way, Jeremiah, Hadley, George, Ameila, Charlotte, Harvey, Baby Ziedins on the way, Maggie, Ella, Kelon, James, Penelope, Baby Fletcher, on the way. Sharron passed away on November 26th, 2023, at 11:41 am after a long battle this past year. Her final moments were spent peacefully at the Ridgeview retirement home in Hamilton, surrounded by family.

Known for her Passion in Nursing Sharron worked for over 25 years at Macassa Lodge retirement home, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Our family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her brothers and sister Graydon (Ruth) Meek, April (Dave) Forrest, Bill (Kathy) Meek, James (Skip) Gilliam, her beloved Dakota & Holly and her collection of Elvis Presley Memorabilia.

A private Cremation has already taken place, a celebration of life will be determined and sent out shortly. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary. Donations can be made to the SPCA as Sharron loved Animals or the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
