It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Scott Matthews on November 22, 2023 at Juravinski Hospital after a short battle with cancer.

Scotty leaves behind his sons Kevin and Jesse whom he loved more than life itself. Also “His Girls”, daughter-in-law Breanna and granddaughters Quinn and Millie. The apples of his eye ❤️ He will be dearly missed by Brother Kevin and niece Jordan.

Red was an employee of Stelco for 44 years (Rigger). He was well respected and had many friends whom he loved spending time with fishing and golfing over the years. A few pints and a bet were definitely involved. He was quick witted and loved his sports. Just like his beautiful loving mother Moira ❤️

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for January 2024
