Samuel George Keats
October 2nd 1948 - July 5th 2026

”The righteous who walks in his integrity—blessed are his children after him” (Proverbs 20:7)

These words beautifully describe our Sam. He lived a life of integrity, humility, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. His greatest desire was to know the Lord and to love his family well. Though we mourn his passing, we give thanks for the extraordinary example he leaves behind and rejoice that he is now home with his Savior.

Samuel Keats, 77 of Hamilton Ontario passed away peacefully on Sunday July 5, 2026 with his wife and son by his side. Sam was born in 1948 on October 2nd in Gander Newfoundland to Harry and Rita Keats. Sam was blessed to grow up with his 9 siblings

Sam married his blessing from God Allyson (Hagan) on June 25th, 1977 having one child Kevin. He worked most of his life has a machine operator in steel production until he retired in 2020. Sam’s true passion was his love for Jesus his Bible and sharing the word of God. He carried endless love for his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Allyson, devoted son Kevin, beloved daughter in-law Camilla, precious granddaughter Everleigh, brothers and sister-in laws Thomas Keats, Huburt Keats (Andrene), Lawrence Keats, Randy Keats (Florence), Sister Catherine Sharron (Gerald). Sam was reunited in Heaven with his parents Harry and Rita, brothers Alonzo, Edward, Morgan, Rexton.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord… will award to me on that day.” (2 Timothy 4:7–8)

‘Til we are reunited in heaven with our Lord and Saviour. Amen’
