March 17th, 1940 to July 20th, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my loving husband of 63 years. My life my everything, you will be greatly missed. Russ was a great father to our 3 children George Hunt, Valerie (Ed) Badeau and Dennis (Denise) Hunt. He was Papa to 7 grandchildren Kayla (Kodi) Coulson,

Jacqueline (Sam) Badeau, Isabelle Badeau, Connor Hunt, Austin Hunt, Clay Hunt and Eric Hunt. Russ was a great grandpa to Kara Coulson. He had 7 sisters and 4 brothers. He was a son to Stan and Catherine Hunt.

Russ was retired from Stelco Steel where he worked for 35 years. He enjoyed golfing at King's Forest golf club with the Early Risers, where he made lifelong friends. In his retirement he worked part time at King's Forest. We enjoyed many trips together over the years. We had a special trip to Hawaii to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary where we renewed our wedding vows.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

We would like to thank all of the hospital staff and at home caregivers for all they had done to provide Russ with the care and support he needed over the last two months. We greatly appreciate your hard work and dedication during our time of need.

We know you will be watching over us. Until we meet again
