Waterdown, Ontario - Ronald Calvin Gray passed away on September 4, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. We will miss him with all our hearts, but we take solace in the fact that he is reunited with the love of his life Sheila.

He is survived by his younger brother, Steven (Sandy), his children, Dawna (Darryl) and Ron. He will be missed greatly by his grandchildren, Jade, Jessica, Brody, Jaimee, and Chase, and his great-grandchildren, Davia, Brielle, Olivia, and Landon. Ron is predeceased by his parents, Morley and Ruth, and his brother Larry.

Ron was a longtime resident in Waterdown and was well known in the community. He worked as a truck driver as well as a small engine mechanic. Many remember him from his time working at Weeks Home Hardware. Ron's favourite pastimes included working in his garage and spending time with his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Waterdown Legion Branch 551, 79 Hamilton Street North, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hamilton Health Sciences. The family would also like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre for their amazing care.
