Roberto Diligenti

March 12, 1947 — June 17, 2025

Hamilton, ON

After a long battle with Dementia, our hero, has sadly passed away peacefully in his sleep. Son to the late Guido and Olga Diligenti. Brother to the late Anita. Loving and devoted father to Emily and Becky. Proud papa to Jaxon and Bryce. Forever loved and best friend to Debbie (Dan). Like a son to Helen Semeniuk.

Bob worked as a Porter for over 25 years and retired from the Hamilton General Hospital. He could be seen riding his bike or walking throughout Hamilton, greeting everyone he passed with a warm smile and "hello".

Bob was a huge football fan, mainly cheering for the Oakland Raiders. His all time favourite team. His passions included working out, fishing, designing intricate train sets and telling mostly inappropriate jokes. Bob's main goal was to make everyone smile, laugh, feel appreciated and loved. Always the first to lend a helping hand and give the shirt right off his back. With hundreds of wild, sometimes truly unbelievable stories from his younger years, you can be sure he lived a life full of adventure.

Bob will be dearly missed by many family members, friends, coworkers and perfect strangers he crossed paths with through the years. Most dearly missed and celebrated by his two biggest fans, daughters Emily and Becky. His "Turtleneck Sweaters".

A very special heartfelt thank you to the staff at The Meadows Longterm Care Home in Ancaster, for 6 years of love, care, and dedicated support. As

Bob's favourite saying goes, to everyone he loved... "DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY!".
