Haynes, Robert William Kingsley
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our Father Robert (Bob) Haynes, in his home on December 24,
2024, in his 80th year. Predeceased by his Wife of 58 years RoseAnn ("Rosie") who he missed so much. Now they are together
forever!
Her leaves behind his children, Tracey (Derek), Tamara (Nate), Tina, and Robert (Jen). His grandchildren, Megan (Joe), Melissa,
Pietro, Roberto, Joslyn, Katie and great-grandchildren Eva and Marcus. Predeceased by his parents, William and Maude
Haynes, sisters, Patricia (Joe), Pamela (Stan), Joan (Alan). Survived by his sister, Jill and brother, Malcolm. He also leaves
behind brother-in-laws, Conrad (Brenda), Paul (Marisa) and sister-in-law Sandra (Ray). As well as many other family
members, friends and co-workers in both Canada and the UK.
Arriving in Canada in 1963, Bob was a Journeyman Electrician for over 35 years with Local 105 IBEW in Hamilton. Retired
from service but never stopped working and always remained active for years after.
He loved to walk (5 km) daily, bike ride around the city and take rides on the HSR busses everywhere for hours. Always
moving and exercising, he never stopped. He spent quality coffee time with his sister and brother in laws in Hamilton and
dinners/family time with his children and grandchildren in their home.
He deeply missed his wife (RoseAnn) since her passing in April 2022 and passed away with a broken heart.
Now he can be with his Rosie and rest in peace. He has been cremated as per his wishes and we will celebrate his life at a
later date.
It's never good bye, only we will meet again some day Dad! We will miss you and love you forever.
Always in our hearts and never forgotten.
Donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation in his name.
