Robert Linfoot

Robert William Linfoot It is with great sadness to announce the peaceful passing of Bob on March 21, 2021. Bob was predeceased by his brother Peter (’73), father Bruce (’96) and mother Mary (’00). He leaves behind a loving partner and caregiver Ellen as well as son Christopher. Bob was a loving step-father to Melanie (Ken Lowden) and Jodi Donovan (Brock) as well as a special papa to Olivia Lowden. He was a brother-in-law who will be missed by Shirley and Stan Brown and nephew Corey Brown and he was also survived by his extended family including aunts, uncles and cousins. Bob was a HSR operator for 34 years and was a member of ATU 107. Many thanks to all of our family and friends for the great support given, we do not know how we could do without it. Thank you, Dr., McCarty for all of your care and the VON (Jenny). Thank you to Dr. Myers, Cathy as well as everyone at Jurvanski Hospital and Dr. Ko, Christina and everyone at Sunnybrook Hospital. Due to the pandemic, there will not be a funeral. When it is a safer place Bob will be remembered at a gathering for family and friends to be announced in the future. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated. As Bob said “Save me a seat for the great gig in the sky” and “Go Jays Go”.
