Robert Ainley Timson

On February 18, 2024, at the age of 90, Robert Ainley Timson (Bob), the son of Ainley and

Jean Timson (deceased), passed away. Left to mourn him are his loving wife Joyce, and his

dedicated daughter Dawn McGuire (Gord). Bob was adored by the “lights of his life”, his

grandsons, Brett and Ryan. He will be missed by his brother Murt and sisters Donna, and

Diane, and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Joyce and

Lorene and brothers Ken and Bill. Bob was a proud Dofasco employee of 39 years. He was

a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. A special Thank

You to all the kind and compassionate staff at the Meadows Long Term Care Home. As per

his wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, please remember Bob in

your own way.
