Richard "Wayne" Peters
January 31, 1939 — April 9, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne at St. Peter's Hospital on Thursday, April 9, at the age of 87. Wayne was a beloved husband of Diana for 62 years, cherished father of Michael and Robert, loved Papa of Michael, William and Mandy. He will be missed by his brothers Ronald and David (Sandra) and Joanna Peters. Brother-in-law of Marilyn and Bryan (Kathy).
Wayne was a Past Master of The Barton Lodge, a member of the former Hamilton Firefighters' Drum Corps and a co-owner of The Equipment Corps until 1989. Cremation has taken place.
He will be forever missed by his family.
