Richard James Royle

Passed away peacefully on March 20th in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Lois (nee Saunders) for 60 years. Loving Dad of Lori (Alan). Cherished and proud Grandpa of Adam and Kristen Clark. Special Grandpa of Katie Royle. Dick has been reunited with his son, Bill, daughter-in-law Linda and grandson Ryan.

Dear brother of Sandra (late William) Palmer and Lorraine and Larry Ward. Dear brother-in-law of Claude (Jean) Saunders and the late Janice McCarthy. Loving Uncle of Scott and Paul McCarthy, Tom and David Saunders, Tina Coutu, and Tim and Bill Palmer.

Dick worked in the Rod and Bar Division of Stelco for 37 years. Good friend of Gil Fright and MaryKay and John Genesiee. Dick loved his cottage, fishing, golfing, bowling and Kenny Rogers.

Dick was a proud blood donor of over 160 donations. We ask you to encourage your family and friends to be blood donors. Our heartfelt thanks to the angels at Margaret's Place Hospice.

As per Dick's wishes, cremation has taken place. For those who wish, memorial donations to Margaret's Place Hospice would gratefully be appreciated.
