GARDINER, PAUL RANDALL
May 1, 1959 - October 31, 2025
We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beloved Randy.
Randy passed away peacefully at Queen’s Gardens LTC, his home in recent years, following a gradual decline.
He was predeceased by his loving parents, Douglas and Sylvia Gardiner, who cared for him devotedly for 47 years; his doting brothers, Glenn and Wayne Gardiner; his brother-in-law, David Lane; his sister-in-law, Glynis Elliott Telepchuk; and his nephew, Cameron Stephenson.
Randy is survived by his caring sisters, Gwendolyn Maureen Seigel (Rick), Caren Lane, Adrienne Stephenson (Mark), and his sisters-in-law, Carole and Heidi Gardiner. He was dearly cherished by his many nieces and nephews, who were an integral part of his life and care — Lara, Amie, Jordan, Zoe, Paulette, Michelle, Ben, Victoria, Sean, Cayley, Chloe, Rebecca, Nathan, and Roberta. As well as by their partners and his great-nieces and great-nephews.
Randy lived an integrated life surrounded by family, friends, and his community. He worked for many dedicated years at the Community Living Hamilton ARC workshops and called CLH Mohawk home for over a decade. After spending about a year in hospital, Randy moved to Queen’s Gardens. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the staff at each of these organizations for their outstanding care, kindness, and compassion.
Randy loved his Bible study, his "business," the Blue Jays, Fonzie and music. His greatest passions, however, were good food, hot babes, and his love of everything and anything Elvis.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Randy's life will be held by the Gardiner Gang on Sunday, November 30th, from 2–5 p.m. at the Hamilton Air Force Association, 128 King Street E, Dundas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Living Hamilton.
Elvis has left the building.
