In Loving Memory

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Grandview Lodge in Dunnville, her hometown.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Henry Hoeck, daughters Corinne and Tanja (Link), son-in-law Dean Link, and granddaughter Sheraden Link. She was predeceased by her son Vaughn Donald Carrington and granddaughter Shelbi Link.

Born and raised in Dunnville, she later made her home along the Grand River in Caledonia, where she appreciated being close to the water. She had a keen eye for antiques and collectibles, and took pride in the treasures she found over the years. Her love of travel brought her to many remarkable places, including Turkey, Africa, and Egypt. Known for her gift of conversation, she was never at a loss for words and could engage with just about anyone she met.

A private memorial with our immediate family will take place at the family home on Sunday May 31st. 

She will be remembered by her family and all who knew her.
