Philip Alfred Dagg

Just shy of his 84th birthday, Phil peacefully passed away in Hamilton on August 5, 2024.

He is survived by his daughters, Suzanne Mammel and Trisha Dagg, grand children, Lily Mammel, Sophie and Nate Dagg, sister Diana MacKenzie, brother Jesse (Sherry) Dagg, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Irene Dagg, sister Jane (David) Longmate, and brother-in-law Keith MacKenzie.

He enjoyed travelling the world and went on many trips with Brenda and his girls over the years. He enjoyed meeting locals and taking pictures during his travels. He loved telling goofy jokes to his friends, family and caregivers alike, and often tried to help those in need. Phil was a dedicated and well respected employee of Union Gas for 35 years. He enjoyed living in Twenty Place in his retirement until moving to Extendicare in 2020.

We would like to thank the kind staff at Extendicare for their gentle care with our dad. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be small family memorial service in the future.
