Peter Hubert Monkelbaan

Peacefully in his sleep, Peter left us on December 9, 2021. He was married to his wife, Patricia Jean (Reichheld) for 64 years. Raising two sons, Robert married to Theresa (nee Kane) and Jim married to Sue (nee Gilroy).He was a Grandfather to Michael, Erik, Natalie, Amy and Casey. Peter was born in the Netherlands and the eldest of six. Immigrated to Canada in the mid 50s. He worked and retired from Dofasco of 35 years. Peter enjoyed travel, golfing and many family parties in his backyard soaking up the sun.
