Peter Reginald Hosford

Peter Reginald Hosford passed away peacefully at Margaret’s Place Hospice following a valiant and resilient life on December 6th, 2025, only 40 days after his 100th birthday. Peter was visited by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren on the occasion of his 100th birthday. He is pre-deceased by his beloved wife Cynthia Evelyn Bracey March 29th, 2022 and son Douglas Eric Leonard James 1974. Peter and Cynthia had 5 children, Stephen (Maria), Lesley (Fritz), Douglas (deceased), Rosalind (Ian) and Pauline (Wayne). He enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely. To a father, husband, Papa, Great Papa and WWII veteran a fond farewell. The family will arrange for a memorial tree at the Royal Botanical Gardens dedicated to his memory alongside a memorial tree dedicated to Cynthia. These will serve as tributes to their love of trees, plants and flowers.
