Peter Hagopian

HAGOPIAN, Peter “Pakrad”

Passed away peacefully on September 30th at St. Peter’s Hospital at the age of 97.

Predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Sylvia (nee Der Arestakesian) and son Kevin.

Lovingly remembered by his children Craig (Carolyn) and Cory (Brian). Also lovingly

remembered by his grandchildren Kevin (Victoria), Kaitlin, Matthew (Alison), and

Andrew (Fey).

Peter will always be remembered for his love of basketball going all the way back to his

Hamilton Collegiate Institute days and his being a lifelong fan (sometimes critic) of his

beloved Tiger-Cats.

A special thank you to all the staff at Hamilton General’s Short Stay and 8 South wards,

and to St. Peter’s 3 East ward for all the excellent care Peter received during his final

two weeks.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Affordable Burial and Creation. As per Peter’s

wishes, there will be no visitations or service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your

charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
