In Loving Memory of Sarin Mak

April 1, 1942 – August 2, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sarin Mak, of Hamilton, Ontario, on August 2, 2026, at the age of 84.

Despite facing many health challenges throughout the years, Sarin always wore a warm smile and found joy in the company of those he loved. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest happiness came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His kindness, resilience, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.

Sarin is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 52 years, Saphan Nuon; his children, Pheap (Sarin), Kompheak, Phearum (Brandon), and David (Seda); as well as his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at AgeCare Willowgrove Nursing Home for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided to Sarin over the past two years.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Marquis Gardens, 1050 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Cambodian Buddhist monk ceremony will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Though he is no longer with us, Sarin's love, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family will remain in our hearts forever.
