Mireille Josepha Greenaway (née Koper) passed away peacefully at Dr. Kemp Hospice in Hamilton on December 27th, in her 75th year, surrounded by her loved ones. She is reunited with her parents Czeslaw and Janina, brother Henry, devoted husband of 42 years Brian, eldest daughter Denise Brown, step granddaughter Michelle, and her beloved pets.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Jeanette (Dave) Pilon and Lisa (Mike) Bissonnette, son-in-law Craig Brown, grandchildren Samara (Eric), Aaron, Jesse (Jordan), Jacob (Lauren), Laura (Nicholas), Daniel (Karley), Jenny, and Maggie, great-grandchildren Charlie, Maya, Mabel, Justin, Henry, and Grace (to be born in May), and extended family and friends.

Mireille will be remembered for her love of family, her humour, and her many passions, including gardening, knitting, baking, and watching every British soap, comedy, and mystery she could find. Her family will carry in their hearts cherished holiday memories, her love of nature, and her magical stories of fairies and monsters.
