Mildred Helen Becker

The Family of Mildred (Millie) Helen Becker is saddened to announce her sudden passing on November 14, 2021. Millie, beloved wife to George Axten (predeceased), cherished mother to Kevin Becker (Cindy Becker), Ryan Becker (Gina Sferrazza) and adoring Grandmother to Nora, Ethan, Kyle and Zack. Also loving sister to Marlene (predeceased), Walter Jr. (predeceased) and is survived by brother Sherwood Sr and sister Judith. Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mildred passed peacefully, surrounded by her family at Hamilton General Hospital. The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff at Hamilton General Hospital for their care and efforts while Mildred was there. Mildred was born in the Temagami area, and raised by her parents Walter and Nora Becker. Mildred loved nature and spending time out on the land. She especially loved animals and had a specific soft spot for dogs. Mildred enjoyed life most when she was able to spend time with her family, and especially her grandchildren whom she adored with all of her heart. Mildred was a very kind and loving soul. Her kindness and generosity were enjoyed by many, and her humour and laugh will be greatly missed. As Mildred was a selfless lady, the family requests that in lieu of flowers and gifts, please consider a donation to your local Humane Society/Animal Shelter in her memory. There will be no traditional funeral service or viewing. A Celebration of Life will be held on Bear Island, Lake Temagami in July 2022. A notice will be posted well in advance for your planning. Rest in peace dear Mildred, may the great spirit guide you and your Ancestors in the afterlife.
