Michael Peacefull

Michael Peacefull, born on October 31, 1941, in London, England, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025, after a long illness. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and joy that touched the lives of many through his work as a hospital and prison chaplain, a role he was deeply passionate about. His dedication and ability to bring comfort to those in distress were hallmarks of his life’s work.

In addition to his professional contributions, Michael was known for his wonderful British humor, which never failed to bring a smile to those around him. A lover of the arts, he devoted many years to singing with the Geritol Follies, sharing his passion for music and performance with countless audiences. Michael had a particular fondness for theaters and live shows, immersing himself in the cultural tapestry that enriched his life.

An excellent photographer, he captured the beauty of the world around him, preserving experiences through his lens with a keen eye for detail. His fabulous impression of Louis Armstrong was a highlight at gatherings, showcasing not only his talent but also his joyful spirit.

Michael was a kind and caring individual whose zest for life was palpable. He truly took in everything around him, savoring experiences and moments that many take for granted. His warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lucie; his children, Ian and his wife Fiona, Sharon, and Graham and his wife Sylvia. Michael's legacy continues through his grandchildren Sophie, Kaila and her husband Christian, Daphney, Fox, Jones, and his great-grandchildren Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Quinton. He also leaves behind his sister, Janet.
