Too young, too full of life, truly heartbroken that we announce the passing of Melodye Mooney.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Melodye passed away on February 23, 2026, surrounded by her family at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice. Melodye will be remembered for her strength, her gentle heart, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and loved. Her laughter, her wisdom, and her unwavering devotion to her family will live on in the many lives Melodye touched. Though Melodye is deeply missed, her love remains with us always. Loving husband, best friend and soul mate to Bill Malcolm.

A wonderful mother to Maryanne Mooney. A devoted and loving Nana to Brittany and Robbie, who were the light of her life and brought her endless pride and joy. A truly special stepmother to Caitlin Malcolm, whom she loved dearly.

Melodye will be sadly missed by her brothers, Bill Robbins (Sue) and Robert Robbins; her sisters-in-law, Sharon and Pam; and her many nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit.

Cremation has already taken place.

There will be a Celebration of Melodye's Life at a later date.
