Megan Frances Pettigrew

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Megan Frances Pettigrew on August 9, 2021, at the age of 32. She will be deeply missed by her two beautiful sons, Quinton and Robbie, her mother Margaret, her father Joseph (Jacquie), her sister Jessica, her nana Mary, Uncle Ian (Melanie) and cousins William and Justice, Uncle Perry (Sharon), Aunt Terry (Andy) and many other cousins, family and friends. Megan was predeceased by Aunt Kim and Uncle Robbie (Aunt Jennifer). A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 19 Viewpoint Ave., Hamilton ON, Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10 a.m. People are encouraged to wear bright colours to celebrate her life. Due to COVID restrictions attendance numbers will be limited. A special thank you to the Good Shepard Centre on Mary Street, Dr. Lamont & Margaret Flood and ACTT2 team at St. Joseph’s, Womankind, and the countless other agencies and support workers that have helped Megan in her journey. Megan was a truly spirited and kind young woman. She always wanted to help everyone. She loved animals. Megan was artistic in her drawings and loved to make crafts with her children. She had an amazing smile that came right from her heart and lite up her beautiful eyes. We will share our memories of Megan and she will be her sons’ Guardian Angel.
