Our Family lost our beloved matriarch peacefully in her sleep on June 20th, 2025, at St. Peters Hospital during her 93rd year of life.
Born in Nuttby, Nova Scotia, she often spoke of her childhood farm where she recalled her mother Hughena Murray made her own butter, and her father Hugh Lynch managed the dairy farm to provide for the family. Maxine is survived by her two brothers, Hugh (Lorraine), Willard, and her sister Marlene. She was preceded by her four siblings Evadel, Murray, Dorothy, and Edith.
Maxine relocated to Ontario to find employment and found a place to raise her four children, Randy (Vicki), Diane (Jimmy), Lorne, and Gary (Isabel), who became the focus of her life. She had a total of ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She lived a simple life, working long hours to support her family, and would give everything she had to those she loved.
You will be forever in our hearts, and your strength will never be forgotten.
The family would like to thank the loving staff at St. Peters Hospital for all the support and care provided at the end of her life.
Arrangement have been entrusted to Affordable Burial and Cremation.
