Maureen Nancy Hacking

Maureen Hacking (nee Cain) passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Clarion Nursing Home. Maureen was born in Hamilton on July 24,1953, and leaves behind husband George after 45 years of marriage, daughter Natalie wife of Michael and a much-loved grandchild; Adriana. She is survived by her 3 brothers Dave, Doug and Bryan and sister in laws Diane, Judy, Carol and the late Sharon. Much loved sister in law to Tom, Sam (Annette), Brenda (Tom) and predeceased Frank (Helen). Affectionately remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Maureen graduated from Delta High School and Seneca college before embarking on a career in the Assessment office. Having touched the lives of her many coworkers and special friends.

Maureen was socially active, having been selling AVON for over 10 plus years. She will always be remembered for her wild sense of humor and laugh that could light up a room. She enjoyed reading, cuddling with her dogs, drum corps and summers swimming in the pool.

A big thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Clarion Nursing home who took kind and compassionate care of Maureen during her last few months.
