In Loving Memory of Maureen Linton

With love and sadness, we announce the passing of Maureen Linton on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the age of 76, following a courageous battle with pulmonary hypotension.

Maureen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Her warmth, love, and quiet strength touched the lives of those closest to her. She brought meaning and comfort through her presence, always put the interests of others ahead of her own, provided care to everyone around her and gave more than she ever expected in return.

Through her love she opened her heart to everyone she knew. She was the stoic leader, the trusted advisor, and the comforting hand that bonded our family.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Ian; her sons, Jason (Jian) and Benjamin (Catrina); and her extended family.

The family sincerely thanks the staff of the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Step Down Unit for their compassionate support during these difficult days.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, in accordance with her wishes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
