Maureen passed away suddenly in her home in Caledonia, Ontario on December 1, 2025 at the age of 73 years young.

She was the beloved and devoted wife of Martin (Marty) DeCoste.

Cherished mother & Nana to Michael Finlayson (Cohen), Michael & Charlene DeCoste (Ethan and Avery), Leanne Stirling & Chris DiCarlo (Jordie, Ally & Peyton), Shawn & Jennifer DeCoste (Bryce, Nicholas & Brooklyn), Nathan & Jessica DeCoste (Harrison & Audrey) 

She is predeceased by her parents Robert & Betty Finlayson & older sister Janice Wilson.

  Maureen is survived by her sister, Moira Harding (Late Keith), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins & her sisters & brothers-in-law. She was deeply loved & will be missed by her extended family & by the many friends whose lives she touched.

Maureen was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, sister, & aunt who loved with her whole heart, a warmth & sweetness that everyone could see & feel. She will be missed beyond words, but her family is comforted knowing she is reunited with her sister Janice & her nephew Adam, Whom she loved dearly. 

Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1:00-4:00pm. As the Caledonia Legion, 
29 Caithness St. E., Caledonia, Ontario 
In lieu of flowers, a donation box will be available for contributions to the local food bank, which will be donated in Maureen's name.
