Matti William Nordberg

Matti William Nordberg passed away in Hamilton on January 10, 2022. Born in Sudbury on December 17, 1955. Survived by the light of his life, his daughter Maraili (Justin). Son of the late Eino (Papa) and Aili (Mumu) Nordberg. Younger brother of Timo (Beth) Nordberg and sister Tuula (Dale) Montgomery. Matti will be missed and remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Matti will also be missed by his many loyal friends. Matti moved to Hamilton, from Sudbury, as a young man, where he became a career truck driver. He also owned his own trucking business for many years. Matti enjoyed outdoor activities. Especially going back home to camp for some down time, fishing and visiting his family. Local downtime he enjoyed in his backyard with the many visitors and friends that would pop by. As per Matti’s wishes, a private celebration of life will take place at a later date. Raise a glass, talk about him and the many memories you have shared. Wish him peace, love and comfort on his next journey.
