Matthew Ignatius Duguay-O'Quinn

Matthew “Matty” Duguay passed away surrounded by family on April 21, 2024., at the age of 28. Beloved son to his devoted mother Lori Duguay and cherished brother of Justin Lauzon (Carlene).

Matty lit up every room he entered with his contagious smile. He will be remembered fondly by his aunts, uncles and many cousins, as family was always important to him.

The family wants to thank the Cornerstone Special Needs Services for the outpouring of support. As well as the dedicated medical and support staff at Hamilton General Hospital for their kindness and compassion.

Donations in Matthew’s memory can be made to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral palsy or the cerebral palsy foundation.

A celebration of life will be held for Matthew some time near his birthday on July 5th. Details to come.
